How we work
A useful route.
No hard sell.
We gather the facts a specialist needs, show the relevant official routes and make an introduction only where it fits.
The principle
Diagnosis before demolition.
A damp patch is not a removal specification. A crack is not proof of failed wall ties. Our job is to help you organise evidence, understand the possible next steps and reach suitable independent expertise.
You describe the trigger
Choose the closest concern and tell us whether it came from something you noticed, a home survey, a lender or previous installation work.
The wizard builds a useful brief
Property age, postcode, symptoms, exact report wording and photographs make an enquiry more useful without asking you to diagnose the wall yourself.
We consider the appropriate route
Some enquiries should begin with the installer, guarantee provider or scheme administrator. Others need an independent survey or a suitably scoped contractor visit.
You choose whether to proceed
An introduced specialist is independent of Cavity Wall Advice and responsible for their own advice, inspections, terms and work. You are not obliged to instruct them.
Commercial transparency
How the free service is funded
We may receive an introduction fee from a participating specialist if we pass them an enquiry. That is why the form asks for enough information to make the introduction relevant.
Payment does not make a specialist our employee and does not guarantee a lender outcome. Always review the specialist’s credentials, scope, price, terms and insurance for yourself.
